Helping Stacy Watkins, a psychotherapist, clarify her story, build a trusted mark, and create a compelling website amid a mental health crisis was/is a true pinch-me-moment.
Therapists have played and continue to play a life-changing role for many throughout this time: helping us unpack our pain and have the permission to feel: reminding us we don’t have to heal alone.
Yet, for various reasons, many of us learn how to endure the unknown alone at a young age. Therapy is often not considered for two reasons: it’s inaccessible or inexcusable, or worse – both.
Stacy’s practice strives to rewrite the script: therapy is brave. Therapy is collaborative. Therapy is badass. Stacy calls us to redefine therapy together.
Aiming to appeal to co-creators, we created a visual mark that brings multiple people (lines) together in one contained, safe space for collective healing.
Her logo is a visual representation of her purpose: facilitating transformations in co-creative spaces.
With offerings ranging from 1:1 to relationships, to whole families, to groups: she needed a website that communicated her breadth of offerings while highlighting her love for group therapy.
With playful and bold language, we built the copy and user experience on the website in a way that invites readers to think differently about therapy, primarily group therapy. We're thrilled by the way it turned out honored to help Stacy amplify this practice.
Finally, I'll leave you with these beautiful words from Stacy:
"Thank you, Megan: my web designer, pathfinder, and word genius - it was such a pleasure to work with you on this project. You have such skill in deep listening, capturing my essence, and then bringing this to life on the web page. Not only did we create this wonderful webpage, but I also have a clearer sense of who I am as a therapist, what I offer people, and how I do it".
